Career Opportunities – Business Generation & Development Coordinator

The role of Business Generation & Development Coordinator will be multifaceted, with the main focus on sales growth. The job demands a close working relationship with four separate but inter-related divisions of the companies. These being:-

1.  Autoscan – Industrial Sales.

2.  Autoscan – Service Department.

3.  Filing Acumen – Sales to the office & commercial sector.

4.  East Midland Fabrications – Sales of product and services.

In principle the same or very similar tasks will be carried out for all four divisions, all these objectives will be achieved in close cooperation with the product managers:-

1.  On a daily basis, monitor, refresh and up-date the three company websites involved. Create and manage web links, blogs and case studies to achieve maximum internet visibility and exposure. Liaise with our SEO provider.

2.  Create and manage industry, profession and application specific customer data-bases for the four divisions. Each division will be addressed separately.

3.  Ensure that these data-bases are continually and constantly categorised and up-dated.

4.  In conjunction with the “Product Managers” create a Annual Review/Assessment programme of activity with existing customers.

5.  In conjunction with the “Product Managers” create and manage regular electronic promotional campaigns to specific targeted existing and potential customers. Ensure that these campaigns are followed up and maximised.

6.  Using the targeted solution specific telephone technique create “sales opportunities” for the “Product Managers”.

The successful applicant, who will work from our Nottingham office, must be:-

  • Enthusiastic.
  • Self motivated.
  • Computer, data-base and web-site literate.
  • Able to work independently but also with other members of a team.
  • Have a structured and disciplined routine of activity.
  • Have good communication skills.

The performance of the successful applicant will be judged not only by the level of “sales leads” that are generated but more importantly by the quality of those leads and ultimately by the resulting business.
